We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced teacher (full time or part time) or apprentice to join our enthusiastic and passionate team.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children.
The ideal applicant (for teacher):
- Should be Montessori trained (Montessori students are also welcome) or at least Level 3 qualified,
- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted,
- Have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
The ideal applicant (for apprenticeship):
- Must be GCSC (and over) qualified,
- Willing to do Level 3 Early Years Educator / Montessori Apprenticeship.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Manager and other teachers to manage and organise the room,
- Ensure that all children attending the pre-school are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play, experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development,
- Supporting the staff in the room,
- Planning appropriately for children using the EYFS framework,
- Maintaining accurate and effective children’s records,
- Working in partnership with parents/carers,
- Understanding and following safeguarding procedures and ensuring that children are kept safe.
It will be a permanent post and a good salary (based on experience) for a suitable person.
